In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF)
Advanced reproductive technology where eggs are retrieved and fertilized with sperm in our state-of-the-art cleanroom embryology lab to achieve high success pregnancy.
Treatment Highlights & Advantages
What is In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF)?
In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) is a sophisticated medical process where mature eggs are retrieved from the ovaries and fertilized with partner or donor sperm in a strictly controlled, high-precision laboratory environment. The fertilized eggs develop into healthy embryos, which are meticulously monitored and then transferred into the woman’s uterus to establish a successful pregnancy.
At Krisna IVF Center, recognized as the premier IVF and fertility center in Jaipur, Rajasthan, we combine world-class reproductive medicine with compassionate patient care. We closely emulate the body’s natural conception process while maximizing success rates through cutting-edge technology. When severe male factor subfertility is present, our embryology team seamlessly pairs IVF with ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection) for optimal fertilization.
Steps of the IVF Treatment Cycle
Ovarian Stimulation & Egg Collection
Your journey begins with carefully calibrated hormone injections for 8–12 days to gently stimulate the ovaries to mature multiple follicles. Growth is tracked via precision transvaginal ultrasound and hormonal blood tests. Once follicles reach optimal size, a trigger injection is administered, followed 36 hours later by ultrasound-guided, painless egg retrieval under light sedation.
Laboratory Fertilisation
Retrieved oocytes are washed and placed in specialized nutrient-rich culture media. High-motility sperm from the partner or donor are combined with the eggs inside our HEPA-filtered clean room lab. If sperm count or morphology is compromised, a single sperm is injected into each mature egg via ICSI.
Embryo Development & Time-Lapse Culture
Our embryologists track embryonic cleavage and morphokinetics without removing embryos from the benchtop incubator using modern time-lapse imaging (EmbryoScope). This allows us to observe cellular milestones undisturbed, cultivating embryos to the resilient Blastocyst stage (Day 5 or 6).
Embryo Transfer & Luteal Support
The highest quality embryo is gently guided into the uterus using a soft, flexible catheter under real-time ultrasound visualization. The procedure is quick, anesthesia-free, and comfortable. Surplus high-grade embryos are vitrified for future frozen embryo transfers (FET). A beta-hCG blood test is scheduled 14 days later.
Why Choose IVF at Krisna IVF Group?
Tubal Factor Infertility
Bypasses damaged, surgically removed, or blocked fallopian tubes completely by fertilizing directly in our embryology laboratory.
Overcoming Sperm Anomalies
Empowers couples experiencing low count, abnormal morphology, or reduced motility to achieve viable fertilization.
Advanced Clean Room Lab
Class 10,000 clean room with zero VOCs, positive pressure airlocks, and medical-grade gas filtration to shield fragile embryos.
Genetic Screening (PGT-A/PGD)
Identifies chromosomal aneuploidies and inherited genetic anomalies before transfer, significantly lowering miscarriage risks.
Who Should Consider This Treatment?
Recommended for couples facing tubal factor infertility, severe sperm abnormalities, unexplained infertility, advanced maternal age, endometriosis, or multiple unsuccessful IUI attempts.
Frequently Asked Questions
This is a personal and financial decision. Statistically, the cumulative success rate rises significantly over 3 to 4 cycles, but your doctor will advise based on your specific prognosis.
A chemical pregnancy is a very early miscarriage that happens shortly after implantation. A positive pregnancy test occurs, but the pregnancy is lost before it can be seen on an ultrasound.
Embryologists grade embryos based on their physical appearance (morphology) under a microscope, looking at cell division rate and symmetry to choose the best embryo for transfer.
The ideal number of eggs is typically between 10 and 15, but this varies wildly depending on a woman's age, ovarian reserve, and response to medication.
